“BULLY” Movie review by Brian Jasik
by Brian DLC on Apr.17, 2012, under DLR
If the sign of a good movie is one that causes an emotional reaction based on situations in the storyline or an emotional response to something that happens to a character in the story, then the movie Bully, gets an “A+”.
I guess you could say this movie has it all. From the frustration you feel toward the administration of Alex’s school, to identifying with emotions Alex and the others are going through as they are victimized. To putting yourself in the shoes of a parent who’s lost their child to bullying. This movie does what it has set out to do. If it was set out to make a difference, it does that, “awareness.”
This movie is a reality check, (or should be), to the young people who bully others. If it causes an emotional response to a bully out there then that’s a good sign. Go with that feeling it’s a good start, and build from it, to make a change in yourself.
If you see this movie and feel nothing, then you may want to backtrack to see where you last left your soul.
Bully is a movie everyone should see, and I give it five out of five stars.

JabberJaw Show- broadcast to podcast 4/15/11(STOP The police from pepper spraying 8 year olds) Special.
by Brian DLC on Apr.15, 2011, under DLR

On this edition of the JabberJaw Show I talk about the case of the 8 year old who was pepper sprayed by police out in Colorado.. I play tape from various news outlets that presented this story. I give my comments about it, as I am up on my soap box in disbelief of how the police handled this child.
In simple terms, it’s an outrage. Those involved in the case, be it police, and or school employee’s applaud the police action. So I bring out the “why,” in how incredibly inappropriate the actions, and the responses from police, and school are so wrong.
Also on the show, I play music montages related to last weeks show with Joe Who, and comment on his reading of me. Also I talk about the new Scream movie released today 4/15/11 and in closing, I play a slightly different take on the song Awake and alive performed by an 8 year old.
It all fits perfectly on this edition of the JabberJaw Show..
JabberJaw Show- broadcast to podcast 4/01/11 (Guest: Alexandera Holzer and Joe Who)
by Brian DLC on Apr.02, 2011, under DLR
In thefirst hour I am joined by psychic “Alexandra Holzer (daughter of world famous Hans Holzer). Alexandra shares stories from her past, her dads works, and shares her thoughts on Ryan Katzenbach, Ryan’s movie Shattered Hopes. Also she relays some of the information that her dad was able to uncover regarding Amityville
In the second hour I am joined by “Joe Who.” Joe has hosted shows on great radio stations such as WLS The Big 89, and AM 1000 WLUP. Joe is a psychic, or, more exactly, a voice natural direct sensitive. What that means is when he hears a person’s voice, (live, on the phone, over the radio, orTV, it doesn’t matter.) He can tell them things about themselves, their past, present and future. Sounds unbelievable? Can 20,000 people be wrong?
Joe does a reading on I and once again I can say this guy is the real deal!!!
Psychic ability is the real, tangible sensory perception of other people and their lives. It is a sense, like sight, or hearing. With it, you can “see” a person’s life, what kind of person they are, the people around them in their everyday life that they regularly interact with, and even their past and future.

JabberJaw Show- broadcast to podcast 3/25/11
by Brian DLC on Mar.26, 2011, under DLR

Based on some negative response to last weeks interview with Ryan Katzenbach and what Ryan had discussed, I thought it would be good to have someone on from The Nation Free Drug Card organization. Providing a kind of Public Service to those who I heard from via email or saw on a web forum. Based on what I read, one could easily make an assessment those who sent the email or posted on that forum need, or need to be, medicated.
Also a review from a listener who has received The Six Million Dollar Man box set that includes the entire series now on DVD put out by Time Life.

A program ahead of its time and one that was on for a blink of a moment…
This program was hypnotic to anyone who watched it as it taught lessons of fire safety and all the little things kids should know.
I’m honored to have the host of the show Bill Jackson on as my guest.
Also on the program an update on Japan from someoen who is in the area.
Plus Ryan Katzenbach director of Shattered Hopes is on the program and he drops a bombshell. More then one? A broadcast to podcast you will not want to to miss!!

JabberJaw Show- broadcast to podcast 3/01/11 (The Trying to Process the Charlie Sheen News Coverage Special)
by Brian DLC on Mar.02, 2011, under DLR

I play the Charlie Sheen tapes from a radio interview he did on Feb 24. I give my take on Charlie’s meltdown. I take note on how many times in the interview he says the words, “winning,” “losing,” and give an overal assesment at one point during the broadcast.
This broadcast to podcast is a Dominion Live Radio special and if Charlie sees or hears this, just remember what happened to the fictional character in Boogie Nights named Dirk Diggler.
